The Business Magazine has appointed Lee Peck Media as media partner for its fifth Solent Business Awards 2019.
SBA, now in its fifth year, has quickly established itself as the premier multi-category awards scheme covering the entire South Coast and Solent and is open to businesses throughout the region.
Last year’s event was hosted by the BBC’s Sally Taylor and the guest speaker was ITN’s award winning newscaster Alastair Stewart.
David Murray, publisher of The Business Magazine, said: “These awards are prestigious trophies that attract entries from the very best companies. Our focus is to have a quality annual competition – and we are delighted that we have such strong support from our sponsors.”
Lee Peck Media is also sponsoring the Corporate Social Responsibility Award which celebrates business excellence and innovation in CSR across a broad range of disciplines. These include promotion of employee well-being, reduction of carbon footprint, improving the sustainability of processes in the workplace, community engagement, protection of the natural environment, supply chain, partnership, leadership and philanthropy.
SMEs and large organisations will be judged not just on the size and impact of the project, but by the resources used within the business in order to deliver it. The Judges will also be looking for good governance, management and a continuing commitment to sustainability.
Lee Peck Media joins fellow sponsors James Cowper Kreston, NatWest, KPMG, BDB Pitmans and Taylor Made Computer Solutions.
Peter H D Laurie, Head of Client Relations at The Business Magazine, said: “As a major influencer in the region, Lee Peck Media will play an invaluable role in underlining the Solent Business Awards position as the number one event in the region. We’re delighted to have Lee and the team on board.”
Lee Peck said: “You only have to look at the companies which have supported the Awards over many years to see just how important the Awards are. It’s brilliant to be involved, and I’m particularly looking forward to seeing the entries for corporate social responsibility category – something which is very close to my heart.”
Entries for the Solent Business Awards close on July 5 with the event being held on Thursday, October 17 2019 at the Hilton at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton. More information can be found by visiting www.solentbusinessawards.co.uk.
