InstaVolt: the UK’s largest open public rapid charging network in the UK
With record numbers of UK drivers deciding to make the switch to EVs, multi-awarding winning InstaVolt has set the benchmark for high quality reliable rapid chargers in the UK and is working towards its plan to install 10,000 chargers by 2030.
Currently it operates 1,300+ ultra-rapid and rapid charge points across 550+ locations up and down the country. InstaVolt’s UK charge points can be found at popular locations where drivers want to stop, like retail and hospitality parks which boast facilities like Costa Coffee, McDonald’s, Booths Supermarkets and Bannatyne Health Clubs. An ultra-rapid charge point can charge an average EV from 20% to 80% in 15-20 minutes.
The company’s ambition has always been to give drivers confidence when making the switch to an EV, and is recognised as one of the UK’s most reliable networks, with industry-leading availability of 99.9%. It is also expanding internationally, with sites in Iceland, and future plans to enter Spain, Portugal and Ireland.
Lee Peck Media launched InstaVolt into the marketplace in just six weeks. Our initial tasks included designing the brand identity, producing a range of marketing collateral, sales aids and HQ signage. The agency is particularly proud of designing the rapid charging machines themselves which have become welcome landmarks for EV drivers looking to recharge not only their vehicles but themselves with a welcome cuppa or a bite to eat.
Today, Lee Peck Media delivers regional PR for InstaVolt across the UK and internationally – it launched the first InstaVolt superhub in Iceland site to great acclaim.
InstaVolt’s CEO Adrian Keen said: “We have worked with Lee and his team for many years and their track record is second to none. Keeping InstaVolt in the headlines has helped to deliver our customers, landlords and investors which has enabled us to achieve our targets for growth. We can’t recommend the agency high enough.”
