Running for Rose Road – and getting colourful while we’re at it

The LPM team has signed up for the The Rose Road Association Colour Run this June, all for a cause that genuinely matters to us.

One of our team has a family member with complex care needs, and we see every day the kind of support, patience, and dedication that goes into caring for someone with complex disabilities. Organisations like Rose Road don’t just provide a service, they make a real, lasting difference to the lives of disabled children, young people and their families.

The funds raised through this event will give disabled children and young people with complex care needs access to more opportunities, activities and adventures – and every little helps. Just £10 would fund a session of hydrotherapy, £30 would fund a session of music therapy and £50 would fund a session of therapeutic dance.

Every step taken and every splash of colour helps provide experiences that many children might otherwise miss out on.

So yes, we’ll be lacing up our trainers, bracing ourselves for a 5k, and probably complaining the entire way around. But if it helps raise vital funds for such a fantastic cause, we’d do it all over again.

If you’d like to support us, we’d love to have your backing –  you can donate via our fundraising page here: https://theroseroadassociation.enthuse.com/pf/becky-lewis
